The main guiding objective is therefore to contribute to a   <\/span><b>better and more responsible human development <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">in the countries where it operates. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<h3>How do we work?<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #636161\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Thus, as a <\/span><b>volunteer-based organization, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">ATACA is made up of a team of around <strong>30 <\/strong><\/span><b>volunteers in Portugal. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">These volunteers dedicate part of their time each week to running the association, where they are responsible for administrative, logistical and support tasks for the projects carried out in Africa. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #636161\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">ATACA also relies permanently on <\/span><b>Portuguese volunteers on the ground<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, who monitor and develop these projects in conjunction with the headquarters in Portugal. In addition to these volunteers who go on missions, there are also local volunteers in the countries where ATACA operates.
